Redsands Produce is a family owned and operated business located in the Riverland region of South Australia. Since purchasing our patch of land in 2013, we have continuously worked on growing an orchard of mixed fruit and nuts. We have consciously made decisions to utilise horticultural practices that are as natural and sustainable as possible such as using livestock to assist in the management of pests and weeds. On a daily basis our flock of Harlequin mini sheep and our flocks of ducks and geese provide entertainment as they set to work of eating the things that we least want on our block. Essentially, this has helped us to keep our use of chemicals to a minimum. We aim to offer products harvested from our block however in the event that we cannot do this, we support other growers in our local region that share similar philosophies as we have adopted to ensure that our meaning, mission and vision are not compromised.
