How is the fruit dried without preservatives?
Redsands Produce fruit is dried through the use of a dehydrator. The fruit is thinly sliced and dried gradually in a dehydrator with no other treatment of the fruit required. Whilst not having the plumpness of sulphur dried fruit, this method of drying retains the flavour and colour of the fruit and the product can be likened to fruit “chips”.
How are the nuts dried and crunchy without any added oil?
Like the fruit, Redsands Produce pistachios are dried through the use of a dehydrator. Unlike traditionally roasted nuts, our pistachios are dried and transitioned into crunchy treats without oil.
